Your retirement fund management committee is responsible for choosing and overseeing the fund’s investment strategy to protect and grow members’ retirement savings.
Together with a professional board of trustees, they ensure the strategy is appropriate for members’ retirement timelines, monitor how money should gradually shift between portfolios as members near retirement, and regularly review the fund’s overall investment approach to keep it aligned with members’ long-term financial needs. Their purpose is to safeguard members’ interests and ensure the fund is managed responsibly and effectively.
